Capt. Bret Crook & First Mate Jennifer Crook
Capt. Bret Crook is a U.S. Coast Guard–licensed captain and retired Police Chief from Waco, Texas, with extensive safety and emergency-response training. He brings decades of professional experience and a strong focus on guest safety to every charter.
Jennifer Crook is the First Mate and onboard assistant. She’s a retired Assistant Superintendent and former teacher who ensures the boat runs smoothly and guests have a comfortable, enjoyable experience.
Bret and Jennifer retired to Florida five years ago after visiting Destin for more than 25 years. They started Salty Crook Charters to offer something Destin was missing: a safe, professional, affordable luxury yacht experience for small groups.

HarborWalk Village Pickup
Step aboard right from HarborWalk Village and cruise past the Destin Harbor fishing fleet on your way out to the emerald water.
Crab Island Sandbar
Drop anchor at Crab Island’s shallow sandbar for swimming, floating, paddle boarding, and hanging out with other boats in waist‑deep, crystal‑clear water.
